Trying to tip out to a port we see:

%tip sio0
/var/spool/lock/LCK..cuaa0: No such file or directory
Can't open lock file.
all ports busy

Become root and try it:
tip sio0
It returns:

connected

Hit ~! to disconnect
It returns:

~[sh]

Now try it again
tip sio0

And it returns:

all ports busy

The only solution is to manually remove the lockfile.

BTW, also have a working ASR33 in the garage :)

~. is disconnect. ~! starts a subshell; you're still connected
and will return to the connection when you exit the subshell.
Therefore the lockfile remains.
Argh.. right. Thanks, its been too long since I used tip.

tnx
